St. Bernard is located in the Glassell Park
neighborhood of Los Angeles, between Highland Park and Eagle Rock. The
parish hall is located on the original site of the parish complex of
1925 (Verdugo Road and Avenue 33); the present church was built in 1967
a few yards to the west on Avenue 33.
St. Bernard is easily accessible to the greater Los
Angeles area and is located near Metro bus stops serving the downtown
area, including Metro Lines 84 and 685, at Eagle Rock Boulevard and Avenue 33.

15A). Turn left onto Verdugo Road. Turn right on Eagle Rock Boulevard.
Continue several blocks. Turn left onto Avenue 33.
From the west
Take the Golden State (5) or Ventura (134) freeways
to the Glendale (2) Freeway.
From the south, exit the Glendale (2) Freeway at
Eagle Rock Boulevard (Exit 15). Turn right onto Eagle Rock Boulevard.
Continue several blocks. Turn left onto Avenue 33.
From the north, exit the Glendale (2) Freeway at
Verdugo Road (Exit 15A). Turn left onto Verdugo Road. Turn right on
